.NET Automotive Portal Developer

Position Purpose:

The Automotive Portal Developer will be responsible for customizing the
existing ERP platform to adhere to automotive standards and quality. Developing
a robust and feature rich vehicle data collection and processing portal
sub-section. Analyzing internal requirements and creating functional and
technical design specifications. This will include building EDI connections
between OEM and supplier systems. Extensive manipulation of databases.
Developing extended applications and customizations for the ERP system.
Maintaining and updating EnergyCS websites.

The ideal candidate is an independent, strong leader, analytical in nature, and innovative
with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic
environment.

Problems and Challenges:

The customizations will be at the center of the EnergyCS's Information
Technology activities. It is extremely important that the systems that are
developed offer the highest reliability possible.

Essential Position Functions:

> ERP and Portal Development based upon Microsoft OasisCRM base code
> Independently analyze internal requirements and define scope of work
> Customize Oasis CRM portal to automotive standards
- EDI connection with OEM and suppliers
- Customize Vehicle History Reporting
> Web based collection of vehicle data and processing
- Build and maintain database to store vehicle data
- Process, organize and Display data in a visually appealing manner
> Development and modification of reports
> Database design, indexes, normalization, and data integrity rules as well as
the ability to extract data and update routines to assist with the data
conversion process.

Position Requirements:

> Experience developing and integrating Portal Environments
> BS or BA degree in computer science or related field
> Graduate degree is highly desirable
> 5 Years of programming experience
> Strong understanding of .NET framework including Classic ASP, VB, AJAX, SQL Server Management, SQL queries
> Some experience with PHP and Crystal Reports
> Strong understanding of MSSQL Database Administration and Manipulation
> Familiarity with Automotive Standards
> Excellent communication skills required; both verbal and written to a
technical and business audience.
> Highly self motivated and directed
