Electronic Assembler / SMT Technician

Position:

Manual assembly of small components onto circuit boards using soldering irons or SMT hot air tools. Should be comfortable working with very small, surface mount components under a microscope. An organized person that is able to follow a bill-of-materials when building the PCBs and maintain component kits for PCB assembly.

Testing and Troubleshooting electronics to component level, use of test equipment such as: O-Scopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers. Work from schematics, diagrams, work instructions, prints, and test specifications.

Position Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (Technical Degree preferred)
- High Voltage Safety Training
- SMT Surface Mount Soldering - Remove and Replace Fine Pitch IC's
- Read and Follow Wiring Diagrams and Schematics
- Testing of Electronic Equipment
- Experience using tools : Volt Meter, Oscilloscope, Power Supply, Wire Crimps, Connector Pin Removal
- Assemble Wiring Harnesses
- Familiarity with MS Excel for data entry
- Competent using a windows computer
- Ability to complete paper forms
- Quality conscientious and detail oriented.
- Friendly Attitude

Preferred Skills
- Resistance Spot Welding
- Equipment repair and monthly preventative maintenance
